Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Carnival Fundraiser
We need your help! The fundraiser is coming up fast and we are still in need of raffle and silent auction basket donations! Any ideas are welcome. Please bring your donation items into the office right away!
Volunteer sign ups are in the classrooms for carnival and dinner set-up, running a carnival booth, and assisting with clean up after dinner and the carnival.
Tickets are available for purchase now. Order forms are by the sign in sheets. You can purchase them ahead of time or at the fundraiser. Please invite family and friends to join us! All money raised will go towards classroom and play yard enhancements. This year we are hoping our big purchase can be a shade structure for the play yard.
On May 14th, the children will need to be dropped off in their classrooms at 2:45. Parents, family, and friends should drop off their desserts in Kurtz Hall and go find a seat in the Sanctuary. The children will start singing at approximately 3:00 pm. Following the performance we will be moving into Kurtz Hall for dinner and then to the preschool play yard for the carnival.
New this year, we will also have an art sale during the spaghetti dinner and Jamba Juice for sale during the carnival. The children's art pieces will be sold for $25 and the smoothies will be sold for $3.
Teacher Appreciation Day
Teacher appreciation day is schedule for Tuesday, May 3rd. We are collecting money to get gift cards for each of the teachers. If you would like to participate, you can leave a check in the tuition folder. You can continue to drop checks off for teacher appreciation though the end of this week. Please specify in the memo line that it is for Teacher Appreciation. The teachers also love cards, small thoughtful gifts, or even just a thank you. Please help us make the teachers feel special!
Miss Thu's Role Change
I am very excited to announce that Miss Thu has accepted a promotion to assistant director/ teacher. Miss Thu's will be your main point of contact for any major immediate issues, if I am not available. Miss Thu will also be helping with the addition of the new classroom, dealing with licensing, and the future accreditation process. Her new role will not change her responsibilities in the classroom. I am very excited about her new role and grateful for her dedication to Amazing Creations. When you see her, be sure to congratulate her!
Muffins for Mom
In honor of Mother's Day, we would like all the moms to join us for a light breakfast on Friday, May 6th. Moms, please plan to drop off your child and spend a little extra time. We will be serving muffins, fruit, and juice. If you have time, please join us for circle as well. If Friday is not your child's regularly scheduled day, you are welcome to come in with your child for muffins and circle. We hope all the mom's have a great Mother's Day and know how special they are!
New Classroom
We are in the process of finishing the approval process with licensing for the third classroom. The final step is to furnish the new classroom and get paperwork signed off. We are hoping to be able to open the classroom this summer.
Tuition Payments
Just a reminder to please put your child's name in the memo line of tuition checks, so we can be sure your payment matches up with your child's account.
Pick up and Drop offs
When picking up and dropping off, please be sure the gate closes completely behind you. Also, only the parents or the teachers should be opening the gate. Please do not allow your child to open the gate when you are leaving. It is our highest priority to keep your kids safe, please help us as we strive to achieve this.
Scrap Paper Donations
We are looking for donations of scrap paper for the children to draw on. Old letterhead from companies are great for this. If you have any thing that would work for this, please pass it along!
